A learning city for all
Link2ICT is the division of Service Birmingham responsible for learning and knowledge across Birmingham.
Our focus is on learning and knowledge for all ages providing IT solutions and support for Schools, Adult and Youth, Libraries, Museums and Arts. We are working to develop a coordinated approach for schools, libraries, youth centres and adult learning, to be community access points for learning and knowledge, and to harness the opportunities of technology to engage citizens and extend delivery to homes, community locations and groups.
Our services deliver joined up solutions to learner and management data, ensuring a robust and reliable solution around connectivity, planning and sustainability, personalised learning or software development services for management information systems. Through our AQUA range of software products, we are recognised as market leader in management of learner data for Adult Learning.
Link2ICT maintain close working relationships with the Children, Young People and Families Directorate and Adult and Communities Directorate; all Birmingham Schools, and Adult Learning Centres, to bring together accessible, interactive and reliable solutions and systems based on a clear understanding of their needs.
Our close partnership with external agencies such as , DfE and SFA coupled with extensive knowledge and understanding of our customers work, ensures that we deliver the appropriate technology solutions to meet not just today's needs but assist ICT planning into the future.
To deliver the benefits of ICT, we also work closely with the other teams within Service Birmingham to build a coherent infrastructure across the City. Through the provision and support of the technical infrastructure and systems that our customers need, we are proactively working to encourage a transformational approach to learning and knowledge using ICT/ILT.
"As the learning solutions division of Service Birmingham, Link2ICT acts as a trusted advisor to the whole range of education services it supports. Its successes are based on both educational and technological expertise, which is then harnessed together to deliver a unique blend of services, in a flexible way."
