Sharing expertise with China

On Friday 23 September 2011, Service Birmingham and Birmingham City Council welcomed a delegation of 25 government and trade officials from China. Delegates learnt of the council's public-private sector joint venture partnership with Service Birmingham and about the technology used to support the local authority to deliver their services to citizens.

Stewart Wren, Service Birmingham's Chief Executive said: " The Service Birmingham partnership is providing the council with more robust ICT for employees, award winning systems and range of enhancements through transformational change to provide security and efficiencies. I was very proud to showcase these achievements to our Chinese delegates."
