Helping Kenya reach their Vision

Service Birmingham hosted a delegation of Kenyan Government officials at our Fort Dunlop office. The Kenyan Government who are planning to build an ICT driven city located 60km south of the capital Nairobi, visited Service Birmingham on 7th October 2011.

Kenya's ICT driven city called 'Konza Technology City' is one of a number of Vision 2030 flagship projects - Kenya's blueprint for attaining middle income status by the year 2030.

The visit provided the Konza City delegation with insight into how Service Birmingham enabled Birmingham City Council to realise their business transformation programme. It was a good opportunity to share with Kenya the lessons learned in taking a large scale project from vision to live implementation.
